What's Next for Double Exposure
Wow!
On behalf of everyone on the team behind Double Exposure, I wanted to say how grateful we are to the folks who took the time to play our game. This is only our second year entering Spooktober, and for most of us either the first or second time releasing any kind of game. We're quite happy with how it turned out…
… but we also know that there's so much more that could be done with this concept! So many cool ideas that had to be put aside to make sure our game could be made in just a month.
So, we've decided to continue working on the game, with the goal of releasing a full version next year. That full version will…
- …be bigger, but not huge – maybe another 30 to 60 minutes of playtime. However, with that comes more photographs and negatives, and with that more choices and alternate routes.
- …keep the same concept, but we'll re-evaluate and rewrite the story as much as is needed.
- …probably be released here and on steam for a low price, although we are still figuring this out.
That means we'd love to hear from all of you – what worked? What didn't? We've created a feedback form where you can share your thoughts. https://forms.gle/Br3CEsjcsY2SXQr8A
In the meantime, we'll start posting on here a more regularly, starting with an introduction to our awesome team. And, of course, progress updates as we have them!
Thanks,
Nathan
